Step into the world of Arctic mushing and experience life at Run Wild Mushing. During your visit, you’ll meet our team of friendly Alaskan Huskies and learn what it takes to train and care for dogs competing in some of the world’s longest and most demanding sled dog races.
We’ll share our way of life in the Arctic, explaining how we live and work alongside our dogs throughout the changing seasons. You’ll hear stories from long-distance expeditions and races, discover how our canine athletes are trained, and gain insight into the special bond between musher and dog.
You’ll also have the chance to spend time with our adorable puppies—the future generation of sled dogs. Learn how they grow, play, and begin their journey towards becoming working huskies.
To complete the experience, we’ll take a scenic hike with some of our adult huskies. Their enthusiasm and companionship make every walk a memorable adventure in the beautiful Arctic landscape.
After the hike, we’ll gather around the fire in our traditional Norwegian fire hut (lavvu) to enjoy a homemade Norwegian lunch cooked over an open fire. It’s the perfect opportunity to relax, warm up, and continue sharing stories about life in the North.
