We love all our dogs, even if their feet can’t run as fast as the young guns. These working dogs are our family, and are some of the most appreciative pet dogs you can have. We believe all of them should have the chance to feel the comfort of a sofa and live freely.

Elias is usually the first dog you meet at our place. He runs loose and looks after our chickens and ducks and makes sure the fox stay away. He is first line of a breeding project between Heges sprint lines and long distance champion lines. The resulting litter was extremely hard-working with short double coats. Elias was a little too hard working for the Finnmarksløpet 1000km (he dropped out twice at around 700km), but a great candidate for the Finnmarksløpet 500km.
Elias was one of our first dogs, and has been with us ever since. We early-retired him at 7 years due to an unfortunate wrist injury from arguing over a female dog.
Elias still runs happily on our puppy team and loves to play the funny uncle. He loves squeezy toys and his favourite is the big squeeky tennis ball. He now lives as half couch potato and half puppy trainer, but he still acts like a puppy himself.
