Explore Malangen’s Wilderness on a Two-Day Sledding Adventure
For a 2 day expedition, we will sled from our kennel, and depending on weather and snow conditions (trail conditions), we will have a few hours of sledding before we have a break with some snack and warm drinks before heading towards the area where we will set up camp for the night. Here we will also prepare a proper dinner with locally sourced food. If you have any dietary needs we will be happy to comply with this. All our food that we offer are locally sourced. The meat we offer is from our own small farm where we have ducks, chickens and a few goats and sheep in the summer, only for our own consumption, and they live amongst us and are free roaming. We also hunt on our own land and can therefore also offer Elk/Moose. All the fish we fish ourselves, in the fjord where we live. If you do not eat meat or fish, we are accustomed to preparing full vegetarian or vegan options depending on your preferences.
All our equipment are top notch, and we will make sure you have it as comfortable as possible, also if it gets really cold in the night!
You will get to try out sledding through different landscapes from valleys, to crossing rivers and observing the beautiful fjord form the top of the summits covered in pine trees.
Each guest drives their own sled prepacked with equipment necessary for the expedition.
